Dell PC’s met Linux verkrijgbaar in de VS
Via de OpenOffice announce nieuwsbrief kwam ik teweten dat er niet alleen Dell PC’s beschikbaar zijn met Linux, Michael Dell - de oprichter van Dell, gebruikt thuis al Linux op zijn eigen PC. Hieronder leest u de originele tekst:

“Yes, the head of Dell, with a market-capitalization of just south of $56 billion, isn’t just saying that Dell will be selling Linux-equipped PCs in the near future—he’s already running Linux at home.
To be precise, Mr. Dell, in addition to running the latest version of Ubuntu, which is still scheduled for final release on April 19, is also running the VMware Workstation 6 Beta, OpenOffice.org 2.2, Automatix2, Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Evolution Groupware 2.10.”
